Many of the marbles have a frosted finish which protects them better from damage. We have a limited supply of the large ruby red marble so if and when we run out of it, we will substitute an equally large, sparkling, and beautiful cackled marble that can be seen in the last picture in the picture gallery above (picture coming soon).50 X colorful, sparkling, crackle star round marbles for collectors, crafters, and decorators. You will get 50 approximately 10 - 16 mm diameter marbles (please note that the red crackle marble is a brand new size for this listing, approx. 25 mm in diameter). These are hand crackled (we crackled a new batch in 2022) and they are glimmery, beautiful, sparkling, and shiny. There are numerous different colors; many with swirling ribbony inclusions, many without. We do not have equal numbers of all colors and varieties. The most limited quantity is for the 25mm ruby red marble of which only 1 is included with each order. Since most customers would like to have at least 1 ruby red marble, we will include 1 with each order of 50 until they run out.....first come, first serve. The same goes with all other colors; we will give you the maximum variety of colors and variations and if certain colors and variations get depleted, you will still get 50 marbles but obviously not the one(s) that are depleted. The majority of the marbles are in the beautiful sparkling blue and blue-green hues....which is fortunate because they are among the top 3 colors in my opinion. Some of the newer marbles are more sparkly but also have been coated with a clear coat of lacquer making them appear somewhat frosted. The reason they are more sparkly is because they were doubly crackled as an experiment and as a result are more fragile than the regular crackled marbles. They were coated with lacquer to ensure they are more stable. Personally, I like these better than the normal crackled marbles because the frosted look is uncommon and brighter than normal crackled marbles.When photographing these marbles, we used several different light sources at different angles. Also, we shot in 2 different white balance modes so that you have a better idea of what the colors could look like under different types of lighting (such as tungsten vs fluorescent). As orders come in and colors deplete, those colors will no longer be available. This will make a great gift. Combined shipping saves you even more money. The Ruby Red seems almost fluorescent in some of the images here but in actuality, under normal lighting conditions, the color looks like the color of a ruby gemstone. DIMENSIONS: Approximately 10 - 16mm in diameter for all colors except the "ruby red" which is approximately 25mm in diameter. CONDITION: New and spectacular!
