It’s been told that Gold was used in mixing the colors for these marbles. Which made them a limited run because of cost. This one has all of the colors plus hot UV. Beautiful at over 100 years old. Early Lined China Marble, Handmade, 3/4 in, Mint, 1860-1920, Germany S847

Type: This is an antique handmade lined glazed China marble. This piece has 3 pairs of intersecting red, green and black intersecting bands over a white base. They were made in the Lauscha Germany area. Condition: Mint Condition ~10 (firing marks and other as made surfaces including sand or grit fused to the surface) (These marbles were fired on small ceramic tripods which caused the glaze to fuse with them leaving three circular marks in a triangle). Size: 3/4 inch Age: 1860 – 1920 Germany Items will be shipped in a bubble mailer via First Class Mail with tracking. Higher value items will be sent via Priority Mail with insurance. These lovely, 16mm “Ice Queen” player marbles come in packs of 50. They are made of glass and have White and Sky Blue Swirls in a Transparent Base. This 5/8th inch collectible marble will surely create a conversation whenever it is used or placed on display! This listing for 16mm (5/8 inch) Glacial Clear Glass Player marbles is for a pack of 25. These transparent marbles are the same as our “Ice Clear” marbles, but we have been told that depending on the glass used, they can have different tints. This shipment of clear marbles are tinted in a lovely, very light bluish/green hue that embodies the colors of the ocean as reflected in glaciers of the Arctic. Due to the manufacturing process, they have occasional small bubbles in them that add to the illusion of being part of the ocean. They can look more blue or more green depending on how many are grouped together and what kind of lighting they are under. We have found that they seem to appear bluer in higher light and more green in lower light. We have done our best to capture the difference in colors in our pictures. Pictures simply do not do justice to these marbles, however!!
