AKRO CARNELIAN LISTING #2 Stunning colors of rich Mahogany and Caramel with hot UV on this exceptional Carnelian by Akro Agate. It’s been told that Gold was used in mixing the colors for these marbles. Which made them a limited run because of cost. This one has all of the colors plus hot UV. Beautiful at over 100 years old. Considering the fact most are over 100 years old I do allow some slight imperfections. All identification is based on my collecting and experience over the past 50 years. Early Lined China Marble, Handmade, 3/4 in, Mint, 1860-1920, Germany S847

Type: This is an antique handmade lined glazed China marble. This piece has 3 pairs of intersecting red, green and black intersecting bands over a white base. They were made in the Lauscha Germany area. Condition: Mint Condition ~10 (firing marks and other as made surfaces including sand or grit fused to the surface) (These marbles were fired on small ceramic tripods which caused the glaze to fuse with them leaving three circular marks in a triangle). Size: 3/4 inch Age: 1860 – 1920 Germany Items will be shipped in a bubble mailer via First Class Mail with tracking. Higher value items will be sent via Priority Mail with insurance. These lovely, 16mm “Ice Queen” player marbles come in packs of 50. They are made of glass and have White and Sky Blue Swirls in a Transparent Base. This 5/8th inch collectible marble will surely create a conversation whenever it is used or placed on display! Made by Vacor for Mega marbles. **You can find our display stands in a variety of quantities and sizes in our eBay store. The perfect size for decorating and crafting, they make an elegant complement to floating candles, floral centerpieces and tabletop decor. Also very useful in Design Mosaics and Craft Projects, decorating Water Fountains or for accents in Fish Aquariums. Mega Marbles and Collectible Shapes create atmospheres of simple, yet subtle sophistication. In order to get an idea of how many of these 16mm marbles you would need to fill a vase, we measured them in a standard 8 ounce measuring cup. One cup holds approximately 80 of the marbles. Using the same measuring cup, simply fill it with water, pour the water into your vase and see how many cups it takes to fill the vase to the level you would want the marbles to fill. Then multiply the amount of cups by 80 marbles. The vase in our picture holds 3 cups of water, therefore it took 240 marbles to fill it to the level we wanted – not quite to the top. The sky is the limit for decorating ideas when using these gorgeous, brilliantly colored little spheres!! Images are representative of selection. Each marble is a unique glass orb. No two marbles are alike. Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand-held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive. Lighting such as flash photography can greatly affect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different. We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect. The white spots on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots.
