Using the same measuring cup, simply fill it with water, pour the water into your vase and see how many cups it takes to fill the vase to the level you would want the marbles to fill. Then multiply the amount of cups by 80 marbles. The vase in our picture holds 3 cups of water, therefore it took 240 marbles to fill it to the level we wanted – not quite to the top.
